Our History
Since the late 1940s, the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers Club has been the gathering place for the people who keep central Kentucky's horse farms running. What began as informal dinners at local restaurants has grown into one of the Thoroughbred industry's most enduring professional organizations.
We exist to connect farm managers, forge lasting relationships, and advance the business of Thoroughbred breeding, racing, and sales. Through monthly meetings, annual events like our golf scramble, sporting clays classic, and trail ride, and our celebrated Farm Manager of the Year Premiere Event, the KTFMC brings together the people who matter most to this industry — on the farm and off.
